The Brooks Trance comes with durable synthetic leather and polyester mesh uppers that give the feet an airy feel and quick-drying ability when wet. It has internal support sleeves that hug the feet providing a perfectly comfortable and snug fit. It also has Ortholite foams that are washable which inhibits odor. The midsoles are compression-resistant and quick to rebound due to its triple density EVA formula. Like other Brooks shoes, the Trance has a silicone based Hydroflow system that acts as a shock absorber. The shoe is also equipped with Progressive Diagonal Roll Bar that allows pronation control. The DRB Accel Arch Shanks help increase support and control, as well. The Trance comes with the E-1 and E-2 rubber that dampens shock and impact when making contact with the ground and adds flexibility and resilience during toe-off.
